4th & 5th Grade Sunday School
The 4th graders will join the 5th graders in studying the lectionary readings week by week. They will be using lessons plans from SPARK (Augsburg Fortress) that encourage reading the Bible and discussing what the readings mean for us today. Most weeks this will line up exactly with the readings we hear in worship.
4th & 5th graders do not participate in the Tribe Days on the calendar, but they will be involved in the Household days and all church Household Event days. There are 2 Household Days, October 2 and March 25. On these 2 days will invite whole families to participate in the story together. We will create family altars and learn about what an altar is, and we will practice telling each other Bible stories as part of a family devotion time.
